Finca Magdalena

Los Poporos Farm Located in the Municipality of Sitio Nuevo, Magdalena. With an extension of 652 hectares and kms on the Caño Aguas Negras, which is fed by the Magdalena River. It has main and secondary irrigation channels and a system that is fed by water captured from the Caño Aguas Negras, which allows the water system to be fed throughout the year, even in times of drought or summer. The farm is mainly dedicated to the breeding of Buffaloes, where it is milked, in rooms that have mechanical milking of 10 stalls, which was installed at the end of 2023. Coastal cheese is produced which is marketed in its entirety in the city of Barranquilla.
