In the heart of Alcácer do Sal, Monte de Vale Gordo, with 8 hectares, stands out as a national and international reference in sustainable housing tourism. Focused on resource reuse and combating seasonality, the project promotes jobs and local businesses. Offering leisure, comfort, and a conducive environment for relaxation, the property aims to attract both a younger audience and professionals seeking a connection with nature. Tourism is recognized as a driver of local and national development, generating jobs and added value. The proposal seamlessly integrates existing structures, requalifying the land sustainably. Houses and large volumes will be repurposed, maintaining and modernizing them. The area will include pools, common areas, and multifunctional spaces for events. The three existing houses will be rehabilitated into T3 with a private pool and access to the communal pool. Stables will be adapted to accommodate horses, while self-sufficient bungalows will be built for digital nomads. A new 400m² home with a private pool will be added. The surrounding area will be dedicated to agriculture, pasture for horses, and related tourist activities.
