The beginning of your story in the tenement house on Hoża Street.

TOWNHOUSE:
In Warsaw, at 39 Hoża Street, there is a tenement house in which a field hospital operated during the Warsaw Uprising, and in September 1945 the building passed into the hands of LOT Polish Airlines. The building is an example of a metropolitan and luxurious tenement house. This house was erected for the Lichtenbaum family.

The tenement house was built in 1911 by architect Wacław Heppen and builder Józef Napoleon Czerwiński. They became famous in Warsaw for building big-city tenement houses with rich architectural décor. The façade is enriched with decoration in the form of rustication, bas-relief garlands or various balconies. There are also elements of Art Nouveau architecture. The passage through the gate also looks impressive.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, Hoża Street in Warsaw, just like today, was one of the most fashionable and expensive streets in the entire city. This area was often visited by both wealthy residents of Warsaw and passers-by.

Although the tenement house at number 39 at Hoża Street was erected for the Lichtenbaum family, the most famous owner of the building was the prima donna of the Warsaw Operetta, Wiktoria Kawecka, the then musical star of the capital.

APARTMENT:
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor (there is an elevator in the building). The condition of the apartment will allow the new owner full freedom of interior design, and it will provide the interior designer with a lot of excitement, including any arrangement of rooms. The apartment is in need of general renovation.
The apartment is almost 4m high, which gives us the opportunity to create additional space in the form of a mezzanine. Currently, there is furniture between the room and the kitchen. Identical buildings are also found in other places of the apartment, m.in. hallway. Their reconstruction will provide the owner with a lot of storage space. In addition, the apartment includes a storage room in the basement.

LEGAL STATUS:
The apartment is fully owned with a share in the land. The Land and Mortgage Register is kept for the property, so it is possible to use a mortgage loan when buying it.
