Castle 17th ISMH Located on the border of Yvelines and Eure, this castle of the 17th century, Listed as a Historic Monument, was built on the foundations of an old manor house surrounded by moats dating from the 16th century. During the French Revolution, the castle was sold by auction as national property, then became private property again in the 19th century. In the 18th century, the original main body facing the park was joined by two pavilions extended by pepper towers following the design of the moat and framing the main courtyard. These pavilions were in the 19th century connected to the main building by two wings taking up the Louis XIII style of the original body. The entrance hall and the reception distribute, on the one hand on the vast weapons room and its large fireplace, on the other hand on the professional kitchen and its ancillary rooms. Upstairs, by the main staircase, you access on one side to a beautiful reception room, then two living rooms in a row, opposite, two large suites with fireplaces and old woodwork. Arranged in the wings of the castle and in the upper floors up to the attic, a total of thirty bedrooms with bathrooms, partly with a living room. An indoor pool has been set up on the ground floor of one of the wings, while the pavilion as an extension of the south wing hosts two large meeting rooms located on the ground floor and upstairs. The pavilion opposite is an office space with two apartments upstairs. Near the entrance of the property, a reception room of 450m², including rooms for caterers, as well as an annex building including the sanitary facilities of the reception room, four bedrooms for the staff upstairs and a large cathedral room under development. The park of 21 hectares mainly wooded is pierced by two large lawns giving way to beautiful perspectives to the west. The site is ideally located, near Pacy sur Eure and close to the A13 access to Paris at 73 km.
