Pola de Siero is a parish of the Asturian council of Siero, Spain, and a village of that parish, the only town of it. The village is the capital of the council. In 2014 they had a registered population of 12,755 inhabitants. Pola de Siero is located in the center of the municipality, located in the center of the region, and in the Asturian metropolitan area, known as Ciudad Astur with more than 800,000 inhabitants. Surrounded by important communications such as the A-64 motorway that connects it with the capital of the Principality in just 10 minutes, given its proximity to it (15 km); also 45 minutes from the Asturian East, but it is also worth noting that it is very close to all the industrial estates in the center of Asturias. Also passing through its perimeter the AS-1 (Mining Highway) that connects it with Gijón in another 15 minutes (distance 16 km) and in another 15 minutes from the Basins of Nalón and Caudal.
