In the very heart of Cornudella de Montsant we find Can Rodès, it is a unique habitage that tells history. It is one of the oldest houses that are still preserved in the village. It dates from the beginning of the eighteenth century and was modified at the end of the nineteenth century. Cornudella is a municipality in the province of Tarragona, in the northeast of the Priorat region and with a lot of prominence. It is surrounded by the Montsant mountain range and the Prades mountains, it has a regional environment with a lot of attraction for tourism, with a great destination of routes and trails for hiking enthusiasts and one of the most active climbers in Europe. Can Rodés is a room with a total built area of 1028m2 divided into a semi-basement, ground floor, mezzanine, first floor and attic. It has an outdoor garden in contact with neighboring buildings. In the semi-basement we find the typical cellar of a village house, on the ground floor there is the storage area and different rooms that lead directly to the garden through balconies. On the mezzanine floor you can differentiate a kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms and the connection with the interior courtyard with a circulation of external stairs. On the first floor, we find a hall, different rooms with a more noble aesthetic and on the attic floor we have an entire open area that is divided into two levels connected by stairs.
