IAD EXCLUSIVE!
I am pleased to present this traditional country house in the heart of the Serra de Azoia, surrounded by the majestic beaches and viewpoints of Azoia and Cabo Espichel, one of the most serene, quiet and rugged areas of the peninsula.
This charming villa is generous in its layout and distribution.
The ground floor has a huge living and dining room with built-in bar and a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. French doors open onto a full-sized kitchen bathed in natural light. This large space includes a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, built-in oven and microwave, and a new hob installed in 2022. Hot water on request is another feature conveniently located in this room. This level is completed with a convenient bedroom, bathroom and a large wine cellar with space for more than 100 bottles.
Going upstairs to the 1st floor, we find a lovely living room complete with a second wood-burning fireplace. Two more bedrooms with built-in closets, as well as a charming bathroom with improved shower cubicle complete the space on this floor, but there is more.
Upstairs, in the attic area, we find a guest suite complete with living room, large bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub for those relaxing soaks. This is a great place for family or visitors.
The exterior of this property is just as well equipped as the interior. A huge deck on the north side leads to a garden area carved out of the backyard with private cistern and over 5 types of mature fruit trees, as well as producing vines. In front of the house there are lemons, lowquats, oranges and a couple of vines, while along the side there are a couple of apple and orange trees. At the back there is a pear tree, an apple tree, vines, quince, apricots and clementines. An old goat pen is a great place to store all your gardening tools. The deck is absolutely the best place to relax with the sunset and a cocktail.
Just around the corner, a small, strategically placed BBQ area will be a highlight of evenings spent with the family dining al fresco. Plenty of space to prepare food and even running water for cleaning!
The door to your private 2-car garage is also located next to the cooking area. Descending a set of steps surrounded by flowers and trees, you arrive again at the marble patio, a great place to relax under the pergola of vines and contemplate all the fantastic features of this beautiful villa. Truly a must-see.
Cabo Espichel is 5 km away, while the village of Sesimbra and its wonderful beach, restaurants and cafes are just 11 km away. Passing through Zambujal, on the way to Sesimbra, there are all kinds of small local restaurants: you almost have the feeling of being out of time. Here there are no skyscrapers, no urban noise, just the peace and quiet of a traditional Portuguese village in the middle of nature. One of the strengths of the house is definitely the uninterrupted view and possibly the 3 or 4 friendly goats that reside nearby.
Property taxes are very low, around 150 euros per year.
