Contemporary architecture - Anglet, on the road to the beaches, at the bend of a small path, unsuspected architect's house designed by Michael Castets. Built on a plot of nearly 600m2, the architect has succeeded in creating a contemporary project by superimposing 2 rectangular volumes interlocking in a cantilevered pattern. A total of 155m2 of surface area divided between the main house and an independent studio. On the house side, the corten steel façade sets the tone for an assertive industrial style where raw materials such as metal, wood and glass are harmoniously mixed. The living spaces are punctuated by interplay of levels where a cosy living room and wood stove, a TV corner, a bistro kitchen behind a glazed workshop are articulated. 3 bedrooms with bathroom and dressing room make up the night area. The whole, largely open to the outside, is extended by a fitted bodega, a real additional reception room of 25m2.
